Drew Galey drove in four runs on two hits to lead Greenville Varsity Yellow Jackets past Chippewa Hills 20-1 on Saturday. In the first inning, Galey doubled, scoring three runs.

Greenville Varsity Yellow Jackets jumped out to the lead in the top of the first inning after Emily Rice drew a walk, scoring one run, an error scored one run, Emma Durdle singled, scoring two runs, Aubrie Uebele singled, scoring two runs, Galey doubled, scoring three runs, and Cam Klco drew a walk, scoring one run.

Greenville Varsity Yellow Jackets scored five runs on two hits in the top of the second inning. Makenzie Enbody singled, scoring one run, an error scored one run, Alexa Hyler tripled, scoring two runs, and Rice grounded out, scoring one run.

Greenville Varsity Yellow Jackets scored five runs on two hits in the top of the third inning. Jenna Jenks singled, scoring one run, an error scored one run, Rice singled, scoring one run, and an error scored two runs.

Rice started in the circle for Greenville Varsity Yellow Jackets. The starting pitcher allowed four hits and one run over three innings, striking out six and walking none. Hannah Hough began the game for Chippewa Hills. The starting pitcher gave up four hits and 10 runs (zero earned) over two-thirds of an inning, striking out none and walking seven.

Greenville Varsity Yellow Jackets had a strong eye at the plate, collecting 10 walks for the game. Rice and Hyler led the team with two free passes each. Greenville Varsity Yellow Jackets were sure-handed in the field and didn't commit a single error. Uebele had the most chances in the field with six.

Erin Riesenberg, Carlee Flowers, Hunter Howard, and Ella Newman each collected one hit for Chippewa Hills. Newman led Chippewa Hills with one run batted in. The infielder went 1-for-2 on the day.
