Greenville Varsity Yellow Jackets won big over Belding Varsity Black Knights 10-4 on Tuesday.
Greenville Varsity Yellow Jackets got on the board in the bottom of the first inning after Alexa Hyler singled, scoring two runs, a passed ball scored one run, and an error scored one run.
Greenville Varsity Yellow Jackets added one run in the third after Kelsey Barczak singled to the right side of the infield.
Emily Rice earned the win for Greenville Varsity Yellow Jackets. The righty allowed five hits and four runs (two earned) over seven innings, striking out five and walking one. Emma Ingles took the loss for Belding Varsity Black Knights. The pitcher went six innings, giving up 10 runs (five earned) on eight hits, striking out 11 and walking seven.
